A message from Executive Director Christopher C. Houston

Welcome to the Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities website!  I would like to take this opportunity to announce that the Authorities recently adopted a strategic plan, which will serve to guide us as we strive to further our mission to create quality, affordable housing and sustainable development opportunities which revitalize and strengthen our communities.  The strategic planning process included obtaining input from our staff, board and community partners and stakeholders, which resulted in the establishment of the following goals:

• Healthy and Stable Communities

• Economic Opportunities

• Efficient and Effective Financial and Programmatic Operations

• Quality Customer Service

We are proud of our many accomplishments, but we also know that there is much more work ahead of us.  It will be even more important in the future to continue to receive the engaged support of the County Commissioners, local governments and the public and private organizations that have allowed the Authorities to accomplish so much in the past.

I welcome your comments and suggestions as we move forward.

If you would like to complete and application for our rental programs, please click on the "On Line Application" link under Cumberland County Housing Authority on the left hand column of this website.  You will need access to a printer to print out the required forms for submission along with submitting copies of your birth certificates and social security cards via hand delivery or mail.  Failure to submit this paperwork will result in an incomplete application and will not be reviewed.
