East Gate Apartments, owned by East Gate Seniors Associates, L.P. and managed by the Cumberland County Redevelopment Authority, opened for occupancy on December 1, 2001. This 40-unit, 3-story building is located just off Walnut Bottom Road in South Middleton Township, Cumberland County. Each one-bedroom apartment offers central air, wall-to-wall carpeting, modern appliances, emergency pull-cords and intercoms. All are wheel-chair accessible. Residents enjoy on-site parking, landscaped grounds, 24 hour on-call maintenance, laundry facilities and a large community room. Social service programming geared to the needs of the residents will also be available.

East Gate Apartments are very affordable. Rents range for $453 to $533 per month including all utilities. Income limits apply (1 person = $22,950; 2 Persons = $26,250). East Gate Apartments is conveniently located near K-Mart, Nell's, banks, churches and physician's offices.
